before you bring us your valuable parts. By addressing a few
important issues we hope to make your experience with Redi-Coat a
great one!
Take an inventory
of all your parts. We can only give you back what you list at the
time of drop off.
Separate all Aluminum and Zinc Die Cast parts from
steel parts. We can clean and e-coat these part but they must go through a
special cleaning process so that they don’t get harmed.
Remove all springs from hood and door hinges. Again
they can be cleaned and coated, but through a different process.
Disassemble all parts as much as possible. This
will help us clean your parts more thoroughly.
If you are going to have a car body coated you
MUST remove the aluminum body tag/s. There are other areas that need to be
addressed so please give us a call if you are interested in doing a body.
Please be aware
that once your parts are stripped all filler will be removed.
Sometimes this can be a surprise to us as well as you!
